David Pearce. David Pearce is I3 Professor in the Artificial Intelligence Department of the Polytechnic University Madrid. He obtained his D.Phil. from the University of Sussex and his Habilitation from the Free University Berlin. He has been a Heisenberg Research Fellow of the DFG and a Ramón y Cajal Research Fellow at the Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid.
